Tuckerman Ravine
Every run at Tuckerman Ravine starts with a trek to the top of the headwall, through terrain known for real avalanche risk and crevasses that can swallow a skier or boarder until the snowpack melts. Toni Matt flew straight down that same headwall in 1939, no turns, racing the American Inferno. That record set still stands today.
